This precedent is a basic agreement for entering into a secondment arrangement for a current employee to a host company for a local or overseas assignment.
It contains clauses detailing the obligations of the employee and the host company. It contains many optional clauses that may be either retained or discarded depending on the circumstances of the situation, including clauses with respect to insurances required. The agreement contains shorter form confidentiality, intellectual property clauses, which may wish to be more detailed; such longer form clauses are available separately.
