The deed of release is for an employer to provide to an employee whose employment has been terminated for reasons of genuine redundancy. The deed provides a release from legal actions and claims by the employee to the employer in return for compensation including an ex gratia payment, and benefits.
The letter is a sample letter to be sent to an employee advising of redundancy.
The policy may be used to implement a policy with respect to redundancy for employees, and to regulate the management and operation redundancy or redeployment of employees. This policy applies to all employees who are eligible for redundancy.
