This document is a basic agreement for engagement of an employee to a host company for an overseas assignment.
It contains clauses detailing the obligations of the employee and the host company, taxation issues, repatriation and relocation. It contains many optional clauses that may be either retained or discarded depending on the circumstances of the situation, including clauses with respect to insurances required. The agreement does not contain confidentiality, intellectual property and restraint clauses, which may wish to be considered; such clauses are available separately.
Schedule 1 provides space for a detailed description of the remuneration package.
