This document is a template notice of removal of one of the trustees where there is more than one trustee.

This precedent is to be used when there is more than one trustee and allows the appointor to remove one of the current trustees.

Where a notice of removal is served, the deed of appointment of the new trustees should be suitably amended. If there is only one trustee, that trustee should only be removed under a notice that also appoints a replacement. This notice should only be given where there is necessary provision for it in the applicable trust deed.
