This document is a basic letter that may be utilised by the employer in the event an employee seeks a flexible working arrangement.
This letter provides all of the various options that may be used by the employer in responding to such a request. Where some of the options are not relevant, they may be deleted. If an employer receives a written request for flexible working arrangements, then it must accept or reject the request, in writing, within 21 days.
This letter, when completed, is compliant with the processes required by the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).
