This document is a long form agreement for the protection of confidential information of an employer, when employing an employee. It is suitable for use with employment of permanent, non-award/award employees (both full time and part time).
This agreement is entered into in addition to an employment agreement between the employer and the employee. It may be issued with the employment agreement at the commencement of the employment.
This agreement is a long form agreement with more detailed clauses than the shorter form agreement, which is separately available. The longer form agreement contains additional clauses with respect to what constitutes the confidential information and who are authorised persons with respect to the information (see “Employee confidentiality agreement (short form)”).
