This document is a letter designed to be issued by the employer to casual employees in accordance with the terms of the National Employment Standard and any applicable industrial award. The purpose of the letter is to offer the casual employee with the option to elect to convert to full-time or part-time employment. This offer is made after a certain period of time has passed as provided for in the relevant industrial award.
It is necessary to consult with the relevant and applicable industrial award prior to the completion of this letter.
The letter provides for the attachment of the conversion table in the relevant award.
