This document is a template guardian consent form. In the discretionary trust, a guardian is a person entitled to receive advance notice of a proposed trustee decision or appointment. In some cases, the trustee may not be able to distribute income and capital to certain beneficiaries or to amend the trust deed without obtaining the guardian’s consent to do so. Often guardian is the same person as the appointor and thus has the ultimate power over the operation of the trust. Related documents |
