This document provides a scope for the social media policy, which may be expanded or reduced, as necessary, depending on the workplace and the social media the employer wishes to capture by the policy.
The policy also provides definitions of social media, and a process for employees who may have a complaint. It also provides for sanctions in the event an employee is found to have breached the policy.
