Statement of service

Statement of service

Regular price $44.00

It is common – and in some circumstances a legal requirement of some industrial instruments – for an employer to provide an employee with a statement of service at termination of employment, regardless of the circumstances of termination.

The statement of service confirms that the employee was employed with the organisation and should include the following details:

·                the employee’s position

·                period of service, and

·                summary of duties.

Importantly, the statement of service does not provide reasons for the employee ceasing employment with the company, and need not provide an opinion about the standard of the employee’s performance while employed at the company.
