Introductory note

This precedent is a letter designed to be issued by the employer to casual employees to offer the casual employee the option to elect to convert to full-time or part-time employment in accordance with the terms of the National Employment Standards and any applicable industrial award. This offer is made after a certain period of time has passed as provided for in the relevant industrial award. It is necessary to consult with the relevant and applicable industrial instrument prior to the completion of this letter. The letter provides for the attachment of the conversion provision from the relevant industrial instrument.
