This document is a basic agreement employment suitable for use with employment of apprentices and trainees on registered apprenticeship and traineeship programs through the government, pursuant to legislation.

The employees may be full time or part time.

It contains many clauses that deal specifically with the needs of an employee completing a training program, such as a tailored hours of work clause. It also contains optional clauses that may be either retained or discarded depending on the circumstances of the situation. However the agreement does not attempt to contain all possible clauses; additional clauses are available separately to deal with more unusual scenarios (eg, travel expenses, pre-employment check, etc). The agreement also contains a shorter form confidentiality clause; again, a longer form clause is available separately.
