Introductory note

This precedent is a clause for annual leave which can be included in an employment contract for an employee who has the basic entitlement to annual leave under the Fair Work Act 2009. It provides information in relation to an employee’s entitlements to annual leave. There is an optional provision for use in the event of a Christmas close down of the business, as well as for the direction to take accrued annual leave.
