This document is a compliance checklist for franchisors.

This checklist provides an outline of compliance under the Franchising Code of Conduct, which is formed under Schedule 1 of the Competition and Consumer (Industry Codes—Franchising) Regulation 2014 (Franchising Code of Conduct). The Franchising Code of Conduct is current from 1 January 2015.

This checklist also outlines some of the old provisions of the Franchising Code of Conduct and whether they remain applicable in some cases.
