This document is a template agreement to assign.

This document should be used when there is an agreement that assignment will take place sometime in the future between the current owner of the chose in action and one or more persons wishing to acquire the chose in action.

This document is not an assignment and should not be used if there is an immediate intention to effect a change in ownership of a chose in action.

Once the time for the assignment arrives, parties should execute the relevant assignment agreement.
