This precedent is a notice to complete.

The purchaser can serve the notice to complete on the vendor following the scheduled date for completion if completion has not yet occurred. The notice to complete can be used where the purchaser is ready, willing and able to complete the contract and wishes to serve on the vendor a notice making the time for completion essential. The notice period is usually 14 days.
