This precedent is a letter to the vendor client enclosing the contract for the vendor client’s execution.

The precedent is used to send the final contract to the vendor for execution before exchange of contract where the sale is by negotiation or private treaty. It sets out details of the negotiated sale contained in the agent’s sales advice which may not have been included in the contract at the time a draft was sent to the agent for marketing purposes.
