This precedent is a special condition for use with the 2005 or 2014 edition of the Contract for Sale of Land by the Law Society of NSW and Real Estate of NSW.

This special condition is for use where the contract is to be conditional on the purchaser receiving development consent in order to develop the property they are purchasing from the vendor.

This special condition is suggested where the contract is to be conditional on the purchaser receiving development consent from a local council. There are two options, both of them provide that the purchaser may rescind the contract if development consent is not given.
