This clause is designed for inclusion in the employment contract for employees, where the employee utilises his or her personal motor vehicle for work purposes. The clause provides a basis for which the employee is reimbursed for fuel by way of a fuel card, and receives an allowance for the use of their vehicle.
For alternative clauses, see the separate precedents “Motor vehicle – refund for usage of employee’s vehicle (optional clause)” and “Motor vehicle - use of employer’s vehicle (optional clause)”.
For an employment agreement, see the separate precedent collection, including the “Basic employment agreement (short form)” and “Basic employment agreement (long form)”. Clauses should be adapted to ensure consistence of terminology.
