File note of meeting with purchaser client

Regular price $61.00

This precedent is a file note for a meeting between a client and conveyancer, lawyer or other representative. Use this file note when acting for a purchaser in a conveyancing matter.

This precedent assumes you are giving advice on the contract, however it can be adapted for any meeting with the purchaser.

It is important to keep notes of all dealings with your client, particularly instructions to amend the contract, exchange of contracts and any advice you gave in relation to those matters.

It is also important to identify the purchaser and obtain a copy of identification for your file. In New South Wales, Land and Property Information requires certified copies of such identification in order to register the transfer.

This precedent has been authored for LexisNexis by Emma Heuston, Principal Lawyer, LegalVision.
